Beliefs
As a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), we are a confessional church—that is, we are fully committed to living out in today's context the rich theology and practice of the historic Christian faith recovered at the Protestant Reformation. We believe the Bible is the only infallible rule of our faith and practice. As a faithful summary of what the Bible teaches us to believe and how we are to live, we subscribe to the Westminster Confession of Faith, as well as the Larger and Shorter Catechisms.
Priorities

Centered on the
Gospel of Grace
The heart of the Christian faith is the gospel—a good news of the Lord Jesus Christ. Other religions and philosophies of life may give you ‘good advice,’ but Christianity alone gives you ‘good news,’ that a great work of deliverance has been accomplished outside of you and that it changes everything about your life and your world, depending on how you respond. This was the message of Jesus and the apostles, and this also is our message.

Committed to the
Means of Grace
The gospel is good news of who Jesus is and what he has accomplished for us. The gospel brings certain spiritual blessings—forgiveness of sin, holiness of life, hope for the future, just to name a few. As Jesus builds his church, he has built into his church certain ‘means’ of communicating those gospel benefits to us. They are the Word, sacraments, and prayer—all in the context of community. This was the method of Jesus and the apostles, and this also is our method.

Compelled by Grace
to Make Disciples
The more we enjoy communion with Jesus and his people in the gospel through the means of grace, the deeper our longing becomes to see others come and enjoy the same communion with us. Grace enlarges our hearts and increases our capacity to love. Grace explodes into joyful witness despite suffering and sacrifice. Even as the apostle Paul says, “The love of Christ controls us” (2 Cor. 5:14), and it sends us out as ambassadors of Christ in and through Pyeongtaek to the world. This is our mission.
